Art From The Inside
What happens when creativity becomes a way to express identity, memory, hope, and resilience? What do we see when we look beyond the walls?
‘Art From the Inside’ is an exhibition featuring powerful works by artists who are currently or formerly incarcerated at various Ohio institutions.
Through painting, drawing, and other forms of creative expression, these artists invite us to look beyond the circumstances of incarceration and connect with the people, perspectives, and stories behind the work.

2026 In The Arts Workshops
Mystic Sticks & Sacred Smoke
Join All People Arts for our September In The Arts Workshop: Mystic Sticks and Sacred Smoke, led by Certified Wellness Coach and 'The Pollen Patch' owner, Sheena Hanscel!
Mystic Sticks Hand Rolled Incense: Together we craft 3 hand rolled incense sticks using all natural materials like herbs, tree resin and bamboo. Participants have 3 blend options to choose from or can experiment with their own recipe.
Sacred Smoke: A substance-free herbal pre-roll workshop that helps us change our relationship with smoking in a more positive way and explores other plant allies that can help us versus harm us. We build 2 custom pre-rolls with herbs from the Pollen Patch garden and includes smoking meditation if possible at location.

APA is offering a limited number of scholarship tickets to our upcoming workshop for those who may need financial support to attend. We want this space to remain accessible, welcoming, and rooted in community.
If cost has been a barrier, we encourage you to apply.
If you are someone that would like to pay it forward, please consider purchasing a scholarship ticket on Eventbrite as an effort to keep our workshops accessible for all.

This is a very loosely structured opportunity to connect with others while working on new and old projects. All skills levels are welcome here. Every Saturday except our workshop Saturdays.
